This has got to be some of the most authentic Mexican food in Texas City. The staff are really great people and we'll take care of you. I don't think you can get any better Mexican food around. Update I had the chili relano today. Excellent choice again. My buddy had the enchiladas and loved them.

Who cares about the atmosphere when the food is this good! Stumbled across this place while walking the car show 1 hour before they closed, and they still took care of us. Let me tell you, the salsa at La Gardenia was absolutely amazing. I was literally putting a spoonful on every bite of my food. If you have not been here, I highly recommend it. I wish we didn't live so far from here, and they should sell their salsa.
